Frequently

asked questions

  • Can the blind be left outdoors through an entire hunting season?

While it is generally advised not to leave your blind outdoors for the entire hunting season, it is possible to do so. If you choose to leave it out, you should consider the following factors:

Weather Conditions: Prolonged exposure to elements like rain, snow, and sun can cause damage to your blind. You should regularly check and maintain the blind to prevent issues such as mold, mildew, or damage from animals.

Local Regulations: Verify local hunting regulations, as some areas might have rules regarding leaving blinds in place.

Safety and Security: Make sure the blind is securely anchored and does not pose any safety hazards to other hunters or wildlife.

  • Can I hunt with a crossbow from the blind?

Yes, the blind is designed for use with crossbows and provides the same range of motion as with guns. The gun sling accessory can be utilized with crossbows as well and provide an incredibly stable shooting rest for accurate shots.

  • Can a gun be used for hunting from the blind?

Yes, the blind is designed for use with guns and provides a full 360-degree range of motion for target acquisition. Additionally, we offer as accessories both a gun sling and a hunters orange for safety that are built specifically for the Revolution Blind.

  • Does the blind require a tree for setup?

Yes, both the T-Series and P-Series blinds require trees for setup. The  T-Series requires a single tree and suspends from a bracket whereas the P-Series is suspended from a paracord between two trees.

  • Does the blind have a seat?

Yes, the top-of-the-line T-Series blind has a seat and adjusts four ways for all day comfort. The P-Series blind does not come with a seat.

  • Does the blind have a backpack?

Yes, the blind comes with a backpack designed for easy portability, making it convenient to carry and store.

  • What size tree does the blind require for setup?

The T-Series blind bracket requires a minimum 4 inch diameter tree and up 30 inch diameter tree.

The P-Series is suspended between two trees of any sizes as long as they can hold the weight of blind. It can also be suspended from a single tree limb.

  • How can I maneuver the blind into shooting position undetected?

As with any hunting scenario, move slowly into position when the game is looking the other way or is further out and moving towards you. The Revolution Blind was designed to be very symmetrical in shape and ultra quiet in operation so that slow rotational movement is effectively disguised.

  • Can I hunt in the rain with the blind?

Yes, you can hunt in the rain with the blind. Most blind materials are designed to be weather-resistant, providing protection from the elements while keeping you dry and concealed. The material typically repels water, so you can focus on your hunt without worrying about getting soaked. However, it’s a good idea to check your blind’s specific features to ensure it can handle heavy rainfall and consider additional waterproofing measures if needed; especially while hunting from the blind containing our mesh material.

  • Can I hunt in the wind with the blind?

Yes, you can hunt in the wind with the blind. Our Cordura blinds are designed with a ballast ring at the bottom to ensure stability during mildly windy conditions. For extra wind resistance, Revolve Outdoors also offers anchors as an accessory. The wind anchors can be used when the blind is left overnight to ensure high winds don’t blow the blind around and spook game while hunter is away.

  • Does the blind have storage space inside for my gear?

Yes, the T-Series blind includes two pockets designed for small items such as glasses, earbuds, and phones etc. Additionally, there is a storage area in the upper portion of the blind that can be used for storage during hunting.  The entire blind collapses into a backpack, allowing you to conveniently carry your gear all in one.

  • Can the seat be adjusted?

Absolutely. The T-series hunting blind features a four-way adjustable seat to ensure maximum comfort while hunting. The P-series blind does not include a seat.

  • Is the blind hunt ready out of the box?

Yes! The best part about a Revolution blind is that it is ready to go straight out of the box. You’ll just need to scout out the best spot to get the optimal results.

  • Can I add brush to the blind to further disguise and blend in with the environment?

Absolutely! You can add brush or natural vegetation to enhance the camouflage of your blind. To make this easier, we offer brush clips as an accessory. Plus, we hold a monthly contest where Revolution blind owners can submit photos of their brushed-in blinds. Each month, one lucky winner will receive a $200 gift card!

  • Does the blind eliminate my scent for hunting?

The blind itself does not eliminate your scent, but it does allow you to quickly set up just about anywhere to accommodate for the wind. If the wind shifts, simply move to a downwind spot and continue hunting.  To effectively manage your scent, you should use additional scent-control measures such as scent-eliminating sprays, odor-neutralizing clothing, and proper scent-free practices when setting up and using your blind. This combination will help reduce your scent profile and improve your chances of a successful hunt.

  • Can the blind be set up for right-handed and left-handed shooters?

Yes, because our blind has only one shooting window, it is versatile and can be used by both right-handed and left-handed shooters.

  • Are there product care instructions?

Yes, proper care will help extend the lifespan of your blind. General care instructions typically include:

Cleaning: Regularly clean your blind with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the fabric. Keep in mind – we sell the fabrics coverings as an accessory for needed replacement or change in camouflage.

Drying: Allow the blind to dry completely before storing it to prevent mold and mildew growth.

Storage: Store the blind in a cool, dry place when not in use. If possible, keep it in its collapsed backpacked position to shield it from dust and potential damage.

Inspection: Regularly inspect the blind for any signs of wear or damage and make any necessary repairs promptly to maintain its effectiveness.

Always refer to the specific care instructions provided with your blind for the best results.
